How to use a vanilla pod (or vanilla bean)? Simple! With a knife, split the bean in two along its length. Take the “caviar” and use with the ingredients for your cake or ice cream or anything else. Do not throw away the beans yet, put them in your coffee or tea, or put them in your sugar jar so that they give an aroma to your sugar. You can also drop them in anything you cook (rice, chicken, etc…). Always keep the beans at room temperature, away from air and humidity.
